Year 10 v Isleworth and Syon

The first half started off well with Jack making a great cross field kick from our half into the oppositions, Rory then scored a great try coming from a dummy pass. Jack then converted and the teams spirit was high.
We were playing some very good rugby compared to our previous match and were defending well however Isleworth managed to break our line scoring a try but missing the conversion to make it 7-5 Teddington. The game was very challenging and physical with lots of penalties awarded. This lead to us conceding our second try extending their lead to 12-7 we then went into half time.
After a halftime team talk we went back onto the pitch ready for a big second half. A few minutes into the half Isleworth were penalised for offside and interfering with play giving us an advantage. This lead to Ben having an easy try however the ref called us back from the quick tap and called the penalty. George then saw a tap and go and managed to ground the ball making the score now 14-12 to Teddington. We kept playing well until Isleworth scored another try taking the score to 19-14 to them but we still had 10 minutes to go.
It was into the last minute when we got a penalty in their 22 with Hamish then taking a quick tap and go leading to a try but again we were called back for going too quickly. We then got another penalty in the last play of the game where we tapped and went but, Isleworth got a turnover and kicked the ball back into our half signalling full time and a losing score of 19-14.
